Founded in 2018, we are striving to make a positive, powerful impact on the Athens, Alabama community by nourishing the body, soul, and spirit. CLASSES
Rita Campbell is now offering Private Mentorships in Drawing and Painting to individual students (age 12-adult) ranging from Beginner to Advanced.
This 8-week apprenticeship program includes one full hour of weekly individualized instruction for students who desire to learn the necessary skills needed to visualize and creatively interpret what is seen, using any medium of choice on paper, panel, or canvas. Lessons are to be scheduled conveniently for both instructor and student.
The greatly discounted fee is for a limited time only in order to encourage art in the community and to allow serious students the opportunity to display and sell artwork at Lake Ida Café and Fine Arts!
TUITION: Our 8-week apprenticeship program is $200.
MATERIALS: Students are responsible for materials used in each lesson as agreed upon beforehand with the instructor.

Lake Ida Cafe and Fine Arts is a spacious and inviting lakefront venue located in our historic city of Athens, Alabama. This charming spot offers vaulted ceilings with exposed cedar beams, a combination of stained concrete and original hardwood floors, vintage cedar paneling, and walls full of windows.
