At our agency, we value children’s importance to our community’s future and believe that their safety and wellness are a priority. The Academy of Learning & Character Development agrees with us. Staff and volunteers at this noble organization work dilligently to provide safe, affordable, high-quality child care in an appropriate environment for preschool and school-age children. ALCD understands how truly inaccessible good childcare can be, especially for low-income families, so their mission to assist parents by providing services based on their ability to pay is very admirable to our agency.
ALCD provides free childcare services for homeless families, children from battered homes, and for Veterans while seeking employment. They promote excellence in education and strive to develop morals and character skills in a diverse environment — equipping them with the appropriate resources and abilities to thrive in their future. By providing safe, uplifting, family-friendly events in our community, they find new ways to serve those in need.
